Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior bicycle technicians with a wide range of repair, maintenance, and assembly tasks.
- Perform routine services including tire changes, brake adjustments, gear indexing, and chain lubrication.
- Thoroughly clean, inspect, and diagnose bicycles to identify wear and potential mechanical issues.
- Organize and maintain the workshop area, ensuring tools are in proper working order and parts are readily accessible.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, sorting, and stocking bicycle parts and accessories.
- Warmly greet customers, actively listen to their concerns, and accurately document all service requests.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful advice to customers regarding bicycle care, maintenance, and product selection.
- Maintain a consistently clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all established safety procedures and company operational policies.
Required Skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude and practical experience with common hand tools.
- Demonstrated passion for bicycles, cycling culture, and outdoor activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow complex instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced team setting.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver bicycles (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (e.g., 6 months to 1 year) working in a bicycle shop or a similar mechanical service role.

- High school diploma or equivalent secondary education.
