Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in comprehensive on-the-job training sessions.
  • Learn and apply various traditional and contemporary bookbinding techniques under guidance.
  • Prepare materials, including cutting, folding, scoring, and trimming paper and board.
  • Perform intricate tasks such as sewing book blocks, gluing, and casing-in.
  • Execute delicate finishing work, including foil stamping and embellishments.
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and the workshop area in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Adhere strictly to quality control standards to ensure all finished products meet high benchmarks.
  • Handle a wide range of delicate materials with precision and care.
  • Learn and follow all workplace safety procedures and protocols.
