Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records for all transactions.
  • Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and verify balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on various projects as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB).
  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Singapore tax regulations (GST).
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards (FRS).
  • Prior experience in a consulting or service-based industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
