Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and process journal entries under supervision.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Verify the accuracy of financial data and promptly report any discrepancies.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the accounting department as needed.
  • Learn and adapt to new accounting software and procedures.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and numerical accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
