Career.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Bookstore Cashier to join our team in Challenge, Ibadan. Key Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and ensure proper change is given.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries or location of books.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and front store displays.
- Assist with shelving, restocking, and general merchandise organization as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Promote loyalty programs or special offers to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic math proficiency and experience handling cash
- Ability to operate a Point-of-Sale (POS) system
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
- Reliability and punctuality
