Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming merchandise, ensuring compliance with order specifications and quality standards.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring all inventory is systematically stored, labeled, and easily accessible.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, reporting any variances to management promptly.
- Assist with preparing merchandise for the sales floor, including steaming, tagging, and organizing according to visual merchandising guidelines.
- Support the sales team by efficiently retrieving items from the stockroom as needed.
- Process returns and exchanges, ensuring all items are correctly re-stocked or prepared for return to suppliers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the stockroom and receiving areas.
- Operate inventory management systems and scanning equipment with accuracy.
- Assist with packing and preparing outgoing shipments, if applicable.
- Contribute to loss prevention efforts by adhering to strict inventory control procedures.
