Career.zycto invites dedicated and experienced Bricklayers specializing in structural building to join our growing team in Bur Dubai, Dubai. As a cornerstone of our construction projects, you will play a pivotal role in erecting the very foundations and load-bearing elements of commercial, residential, and industrial structures. You will be responsible for interpreting complex architectural blueprints and specifications, transforming design concepts into tangible, robust frameworks. Your daily tasks will involve preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures. Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and dimensions.
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry units to construct walls, partitions, fireplaces, and other structures.
- Mix mortar and other concrete compounds by hand or using a mixer.
- Cut and trim masonry units to fit around obstacles or to create specific patterns.
- Check alignment, plumb, and level of structures using levels, rules, plumb lines, and other tools.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for masonry work.
- Repair and maintain existing brickwork, stone work, and other masonry structures.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures on site.
- Collaborate effectively with other construction professionals and trades.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer, specifically in structural building projects.
- Proficiency in various masonry techniques and bonding patterns.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
