Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs proactively and prevent potential issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC filters, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and lighting systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, and general building structures.
  • Execute repairs and replacements of fixtures, appliances, and building components as needed, ensuring quality and durability.
  • Maintain grounds and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and attractive landscaping where applicable.
  • Assist with painting, plastering, minor masonry, and other aesthetic upkeep projects to preserve property appearance.
  • Manage and organize maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies efficiently, ensuring availability and proper condition.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, fostering a secure working environment for yourself and others.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage accurately for record-keeping and future planning.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in general building maintenance or a closely related trades field.
  • Strong practical skills in plumbing, basic electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, and general handyman tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose common building maintenance issues independently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
