Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
- Respond to and troubleshoot emergency maintenance requests, executing repairs to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Manage and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Assist with minor renovations, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep of the building and surrounding grounds.
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related trade (e.g., electrician, plumber, carpenter).
- Solid understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression).
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working in various positions.
- Valid German driver's license (Class B).
