Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior scaffolders in the safe and efficient erection, dismantling, and alteration of scaffolding structures according to plans and safety regulations.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company and industry health and safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Transport, load, and unload scaffolding materials and equipment to and from work sites.
- Inspect scaffolding components for damage or defects before use and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Follow instructions diligently from supervisors and experienced team members.
- Actively participate in safety briefings and training sessions.
- Develop a foundational understanding of various scaffolding systems and their components.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
- Excellent attention to safety and adherence to protocols.
- Reliability and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
- Basic communication skills in Portuguese (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
Preferred Qualifications
