Key Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers with inquiries regarding routes, schedules, fares, and ticketing, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Support the efficient dispatch and arrival of buses, ensuring adherence to published schedules and operational protocols.
  • Monitor terminal waiting areas, boarding zones, and common spaces for cleanliness, safety hazards, and general orderliness, reporting any issues promptly to the supervisory team.
  • Aid in the resolution of minor operational disruptions, passenger concerns, or emergencies, escalating more complex situations to terminal management.
  • Manage and organize essential operational documents, including bus manifests, passenger logs, and daily activity reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate effectively with bus drivers, security personnel, ticketing agents, and other terminal staff to ensure coordinated and seamless service delivery.
  • Operate basic office equipment and utilize communication systems (e.g., two-way radio, PA system) to facilitate smooth terminal operations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and public health guidelines within the terminal premises.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact politely and effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic operational environment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in multiple local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) in addition to fluent English.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification; a diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., logistics, customer relations) is an advantage.
