Key Responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation, analysis, and validation of complex business requirements from diverse stakeholders using various techniques (e.g., workshops, interviews, surveys, workflow analysis).
- Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows for technical teams.
- Conduct in-depth impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed changes, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business users, technical teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design and document future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency gains.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios, ensuring that solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts and project team members.
- Manage and prioritize a backlog of requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and project timelines.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations and reports to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to requirements definition and solution implementation.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of demonstrable Business Analysis experience
- Expertise in requirement elicitation and documentation (e.g., user stories, use cases, BRDs)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in process mapping and re-engineering methodologies
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Data analysis and interpretation capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
Preferred Qualifications
- CBAP, CCBA, or other industry-recognized Business Analysis certifications
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems
- Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field
- Experience in the Consulting or Technology sector
