Career.zycto is actively searching for a dedicated and meticulous Business Continuity Support Assistant to strengthen our team in North York, Toronto. You will support the development of detailed plans and procedures, working collaboratively with departmental leads to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Furthermore, this position involves assisting in the coordination of testing and validation exercises for continuity plans, helping to identify areas for improvement and refining our readiness strategies. You will also contribute to maintaining up-to-date documentation, preparing reports, and facilitating training sessions to enhance awareness and preparedness across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs).
- Support the identification of critical business processes, dependencies, and potential risks.
- Aid in conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and Risk Assessments.
- Coordinate and document business continuity and disaster recovery testing and exercise activities.
- Help prepare and update incident response procedures and communication protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of all business continuity-related documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management regarding continuity status.
- Facilitate training and awareness programs to educate staff on BC/DR policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure continuity plans are integrated and aligned with organizational objectives.

- Basic understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, or crisis management principles.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards or frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301).
- Certification in Business Continuity (e.g., CBCP, ABCP) is a plus.
