Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our vibrant team in Surulere, Lagos. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation and initial outreach to proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals. This role demands a proactive individual with a deep understanding of the Nigerian business landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within target industries and client segments.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and positioning Career.zycto's solutions effectively.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and sales contracts tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the HR tech, recruitment, or IT services sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian business landscape and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Resilience and a proactive approach to sales and client engagement.

Preferred Qualifications
