You will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, performing gap analyses, and preparing detailed documentation including use cases, process flows, and data models. Furthermore, you will play a key role in supporting the testing phases, assisting in the development of test plans, and validating that implemented solutions meet specified requirements and deliver expected business value. Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Conduct thorough gap analysis and feasibility studies to identify system deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain essential project documentation, including use cases, process flows, wireframes, and data models.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, project managers, and quality assurance to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit, clarify, and validate requirements.
  • Support the testing phase by assisting in test plan development, test case review, and defect management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned systems and processes, providing guidance and training to users.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating process flows, use cases, and data models.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL for data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) certification.
  • Experience with enterprise-level ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Prior experience in the consulting industry or a fast-paced client-facing role.
