Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
- Conduct thorough gap analysis and feasibility studies to identify system deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain essential project documentation, including use cases, process flows, wireframes, and data models.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, project managers, and quality assurance to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit, clarify, and validate requirements.
- Support the testing phase by assisting in test plan development, test case review, and defect management.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned systems and processes, providing guidance and training to users.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating process flows, use cases, and data models.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
- Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL for data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) certification.
- Experience with enterprise-level ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
