Key Responsibilities

  • Skillfully cut, trim, bone, grind, and prepare various types of meat (beef, poultry, lamb, pork) according to specifications and customer orders.
  • Operate and maintain butchery equipment, including saws, grinders, slicers, and knives, ensuring safe and efficient use.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP principles) to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Receive, inspect, and store meat deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Package, label, and display meat products attractively and accurately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, offering expert advice on meat cuts, cooking methods, and preparation tips.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management to ensure product availability.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butchery area, tools, and equipment at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and uphold company standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a professional butcher or meat cutter.
  • Exceptional knife skills and proficiency in various meat cutting techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of different meat types, cuts, and their preparation methods.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
