Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers efficiently and courteously with meat selections, offering product knowledge and suggestions.
- Prepare, package, and label various meat products according to established standards and customer requests.
- Maintain attractive and well-stocked display cases, ensuring proper rotation and presentation of products.
- Operate and clean butchery equipment, including slicers, grinders, and saws, following strict safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with receiving and storing deliveries, and report low stock items.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and display cases throughout the day and at closing.
- Support the Head Butcher and other team members in various tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately, if required, ensuring excellent customer checkout experience.
- Engage with customers to build rapport and ensure a positive shopping experience.
