Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate C# Developer to join our growing development team in Calverley, Leeds. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions using C# and .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and company standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle, tools, and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application to our projects.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for new and existing applications.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core/.NET 6+).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server, including T-SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with web technologies (ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
