Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using a POS system.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and smoothies, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
- Handle and present food items, including pastries, sandwiches, and salads, ensuring attractive display and proper portioning.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the cafe area, including tables, counters, equipment, and customer facilities, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Restock inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with deliveries to ensure smooth operations.
- Address customer inquiries, provide menu recommendations, and resolve any concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient service and a cohesive working environment.
- Operate and maintain cafe equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately, ensuring correct till reconciliation at the end of shifts.
