Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately, providing recommendations when appropriate.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages (coffee, tea, smoothies) and light food items (pastries, sandwiches) following established recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and card transactions, and manage daily till reconciliation.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the café, including kitchen areas, serving stations, and customer seating.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels for beverages, food items, and serving supplies, informing management of low stock.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating complex issues to management.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and a positive working environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and health standards.
