Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately, providing recommendations when appropriate.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages (coffee, tea, smoothies) and light food items (pastries, sandwiches) following established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and card transactions, and manage daily till reconciliation.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the café, including kitchen areas, serving stations, and customer seating.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels for beverages, food items, and serving supplies, informing management of low stock.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating complex issues to management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and a positive working environment.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and health standards.
