Key Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
- Support the receiving and proper storage of food supplies, ensuring inventory is organized and rotated.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down serving stations, ensuring they are well-stocked and presentable.
- Empty trash receptacles, sweep and mop floors, and perform other general cleaning duties as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining a tidy and organized dining area for patrons.
