Key Responsibilities
- Operate professional camera equipment for studio productions, including multi-camera setups, green screen, and live streams.
- Execute field shoots on various locations, adapting to diverse environments and conditions.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to interpret creative briefs and achieve desired visual outcomes.
- Manage lighting, grip, and sound equipment setups to ensure optimal audio-visual quality.
- Conduct pre-production tasks, including equipment checks, battery management, and lens selection.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on set efficiently to maintain production schedules.
- Assist with basic post-production tasks such as media management, logging footage, and preparing files for editing.
- Maintain and care for all camera, lighting, and grip equipment to ensure longevity and readiness for use.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Camera Operator in both studio and field settings
- Proficiency with a range of professional cameras (e.g., Canon, Sony, Blackmagic) and associated lenses
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques for various scenarios
- Solid knowledge of camera settings, composition, and visual storytelling principles
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry camera equipment as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field
- Experience with gimbal operation and drone piloting (CAA approved)
- Familiarity with basic audio recording principles and equipment
- Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) for basic tasks
- Full UK driving license
