As a Camp Counsellor, you will be at the very heart of our program, directly responsible for supervising and leading groups of children through a diverse and engaging range of activities. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities, meals, and free time.
- Plan, organize, and lead engaging and age-appropriate activities including sports, crafts, games, and outdoor adventures.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive camp environment for all participants.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating leadership, patience, and enthusiasm.
- Communicate effectively with campers, fellow staff members, and parents regarding camp activities and camper progress.
- Manage group dynamics and mediate conflicts in a constructive manner.
- Assist with meal times, transitions, and daily camp routines.
- Participate in pre-camp training and post-camp wrap-up activities.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary (training provided if required).
