Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support service users with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, feeding, and light household tasks.
- Administer medication following established protocols and accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with shopping, appointments, and engaging in community activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and stimulating environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans, daily logs, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, safeguarding policies, and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a care setting (professional or personal).
- Genuine empathy, patience, and a caring nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle (preferred, but not essential for all roles).
- Right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with diverse disabilities or complex care needs.
- First Aid certification.
- Dementia awareness training.
