Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care to elderly and disabled individuals, respecting their dignity and promoting independence.
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policies (training provided).
  • Support clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as per their individual needs.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Perform light household duties, such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities, fostering mental and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and record clients' health conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and care plans.

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a care setting (e.g., residential, domiciliary care).
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable for some roles).
  • First Aid qualification.
