Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Administer medication following established protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients receive adequate nutrition.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Support clients with light household tasks, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health, behavior, or well-being to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of care provided and any observations.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respect client confidentiality and promote their independence and dignity at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a caregiving role (e.g., as a care assistant, support worker, or personal carer).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in basic first aid and emergency procedures.
