Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care, assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Administer medication following established protocols and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients receive adequate nutrition.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Support clients with light household tasks, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health, behavior, or well-being to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of care provided and any observations.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Respect client confidentiality and promote their independence and dignity at all times.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a caregiving role (e.g., as a care assistant, support worker, or personal carer).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in basic first aid and emergency procedures.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks (e.g., assisting with transfers and mobility).
  • Basic German language skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
