Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure timely adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as tidying living areas, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and client preferences.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities like reading, conversation, and hobbies.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Maintain accurate records of client care, observations, and any changes in condition.
- Report any concerns or emergencies promptly to family members and care coordination staff.
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times.
Required Skills
- Exceptional empathy, patience, and compassion for others.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Kinyarwanda; English proficiency is a strong advantage.

- Ability to prepare traditional Rwandan meals.
- Experience working with individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
