Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with self-administration as needed.
- Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as prescribed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and stimulating activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, changes in condition, and daily activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the CareChamp care team.
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment for clients.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- A formal caregiving certificate or qualification (e.g., NQF Level 1-4 in Home-Based Care).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in elderly care or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable personal transport.
- Experience working with clients with dementia or Alzheimer's.
- Ability to speak multiple local languages (e.g., Afrikaans, Xhosa).
