Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to clients in their homes, adhering to individual care plans.
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques as needed.
  • Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary requirements are followed.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist clients with self-administration as per training and care plans.
  • Engage clients in companionship and social activities to prevent loneliness and promote mental well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying living areas, laundry, and ensuring a safe and clean environment.
  • Monitor and accurately record changes in clients' health, behaviour, or condition, reporting concerns to the care coordinator or manager.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential care records in accordance with company policies and CQC regulations.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between client homes
  • Previous experience in a customer service or people-facing role
  • Basic IT literacy for record-keeping and communication
