Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding.
- Administer prescribed medication accurately and on schedule, maintaining meticulous records.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities such as reading, games, or light exercise.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or well-being to the appropriate supervisor or family member.
- Run errands and assist with appointments as needed.
- Maintain a respectful, empathetic, and professional relationship with clients and their families.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Caregiver or in a similar role (e.g., Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to perform basic household tasks and meal preparation
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate nature
- Reliability and strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to adhere to health and safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in caregiving, first aid, or CPR
- Experience working with individuals with specific health conditions (e.g., dementia, mobility impairments)
