Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs as instructed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with light household duties, including laundry, tidying living spaces, and ensuring a clean environment.
- Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities such as reading, games, walks, and conversations.
- Accompany the client to appointments, social engagements, and outings as required.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or well-being to family members or medical staff.
- Ensure the client's safety and comfort at all times, responding promptly to needs and emergencies.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided and daily activities.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience, preferably in a home setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong empathy and patience.
- Ability to perform basic first aid and emergency response.
- Proficiency in meal preparation and dietary management.
