Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and stimulating activities.
- Performing light housekeeping duties such as tidying living areas, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Assisting with mobility and transfers, including using mobility aids and adaptive equipment.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' health, behavior, or well-being to supervisory staff.
- Assisting with medication reminders and ensuring adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Running errands, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to appointments as needed.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Documenting care provided and client observations accurately and timely.
