Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and proactive individual to join our team as a Caretaker – Property & Security Guard for a key property located in Phoenix, Vacoas-Phoenix. This hybrid role is crucial for maintaining the security, cleanliness, and overall upkeep of the premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment, acting as the first line of defense against security threats while also attending to general property maintenance tasks. This role requires a high degree of vigilance, reliability, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. You will be instrumental in preserving the value and functionality of our property, providing peace of mind to our clients and users. The responsibilities encompass regular patrols, monitoring access points, conducting minor repairs, and ensuring the property adheres to health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, both interior and exterior, to ensure security and identify any potential hazards or breaches.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, and promptly respond to alarms or suspicious activities.
- Control access to the property, verifying identification of visitors and contractors, and maintaining accurate logs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, light plumbing, electrical checks, and general upkeep.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, reporting any major cleaning requirements.
- Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance or repair work.
- Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security threats, following established protocols.
- Report all incidents, suspicious activities, maintenance issues, and visitor movements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with waste management and recycling efforts.
- Ensure all safety regulations and procedures are adhered to at all times.
