Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters in all aspects of their work, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and installing wood and other materials.
- Learn to identify, safely operate, and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.
- Handle and transport materials, ensuring proper storage and organization on job sites.
- Perform basic carpentry tasks under supervision, such as rough framing, installing blocking, and assisting with formwork.
- Help with site preparation, clean-up, and general maintenance duties.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow instructions diligently, ask questions, and actively participate in learning new techniques and skills.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by being reliable, punctual, and proactive.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and plans with guidance.
