Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment with precision.
- Scan products, calculate totals, and provide correct change to customers.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving minor issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with bagging groceries and other items.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.
- Assist in maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
