Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other forms of payment with integrity and precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and surrounding store environment.
- Assist customers with bagging groceries and loading items as needed.
- Conduct price checks and resolve minor customer service issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Required Skills
- Strong basic mathematical skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
