Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Handle various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area at all times.
  • Accurately balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures regarding transactions and customer interactions.
  • Assist with bagging merchandise and ensuring purchases are handled with care.
  • Promote special offers, loyalty programs, or additional services when appropriate.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer flow.
  • Resolve minor customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed, maintaining a professional demeanor.
