Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Handle various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area at all times.
- Accurately balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures regarding transactions and customer interactions.
- Assist with bagging merchandise and ensuring purchases are handled with care.
- Promote special offers, loyalty programs, or additional services when appropriate.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer flow.
- Resolve minor customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed, maintaining a professional demeanor.
