Key Responsibilities

- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payment transactions with integrity and precision.
- Greet customers warmly, engaging them positively to enhance their shopping experience.
- Provide information about products, promotions, and store services upon request.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area at all times.
- Assist customers with bagging groceries and carry-out service when necessary.
- Monitor checkout queues and proactively communicate with management to ensure efficient flow.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding cash handling, returns, and security protocols.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in cash drawers or suspicious activities to management.
- Promote loyalty programs, special offers, and upcoming sales events to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless front-end operation and overall store success.
- Perform basic stock replenishment for items located near the checkout counters.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Cashier or in a customer-facing retail environment.
- Exceptional numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach.
