Key Responsibilities
- Learn and accurately operate POS systems for processing sales transactions.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment with precision and integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries or concerns.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and securing the premises.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and assist with general store upkeep.
- Support inventory management tasks, such as stocking shelves, arranging displays, and monitoring product levels.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety, security, and loss prevention guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and a positive work environment.
- Resolve minor customer complaints or issues under supervision, escalating complex situations when necessary.
- Assist in promoting current sales, special promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance customer engagement.
