As a Catering Assistant, you will be deeply involved in the operational aspects of food service, from meticulous preparation and presentation to efficient service delivery and post-event cleanup. This includes assisting chefs with food prep, setting up elegant buffets or plated service areas, serving guests with a friendly demeanor, and ensuring all dining spaces are kept pristine. Your attention to detail in food handling, hygiene, and aesthetic arrangement will be crucial to maintaining our high standards.

Beyond culinary duties, a significant part of this role involves supporting accommodation and sponsorship logistics. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and organizing ingredients under chef supervision.
  • Set up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, glassware, and decorative elements according to event specifications.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner during events.
  • Replenish food stations, maintain cleanliness of serving areas, and ensure a presentable dining environment throughout events.
  • Clear tables, wash dishes, and assist with general kitchen and event space cleanup after events.
  • Monitor inventory of catering supplies and report needs to supervisors to ensure adequate stock.
  • Support the coordination of accommodation logistics for sponsored guests, artists, or VIPs, including room assignments and welcome amenities.
  • Act as a point of contact for sponsors and accommodated guests, addressing inquiries and fulfilling reasonable hospitality requests during events.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with the catering team, event planners, and other staff to ensure seamless event execution.

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in catering, food service, hospitality, or event support.

  • Experience in coordinating guest services or logistical support.
