Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of catering events, including food and beverage stations.
- Set up dining areas, buffets, and beverage stations according to detailed event specifications and client preferences.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Ensure proper presentation, temperature, and quality of all food items throughout events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, service, and storage areas, adhering to all health standards.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of food.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking of catering supplies, and reporting low stock levels.
- Support logistics for guest accommodation, including preparing welcome packets and disseminating relevant information.
- Aid in the setup and precise placement of sponsor branding and promotional materials at events.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly and efficiently to guest inquiries and needs.
- Collaborate effectively with the catering team, events coordinators, and external vendors to ensure seamless event flow.
- Perform pre-event checks and post-event duties, including thorough cleaning, equipment breakdown, and proper storage.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 6 months) in a catering, hospitality, or food service environment.
- Strong understanding and practical application of food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment (up to 25 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- A proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Current Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Prior experience with event setup, breakdown, and guest relations.

- Basic knowledge of accommodation logistics or sponsorship activation in an event context.
