Are you passionate about food, events, and delivering exceptional service? Le Kiosk Catering is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team in Rose Hill. Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
- Prepare and set up event venues, including tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, glassware, and decorations, according to event specifications.
- Ensure all food and beverage items are presented appealingly and set up correctly for service.
- Actively participate in serving food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, serving areas, and event venues before, during, and after events.
- Efficiently clear tables, wash dishes, and properly store catering equipment and supplies.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and organizing stockrooms.
- Interact with clients and guests politely, addressing any requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Safely transport catering equipment and food items to and from event locations.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
