Key Responsibilities
- Transport catering equipment, food, and beverages to event locations safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the setup of event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and decor according to event specifications.
- Arrange food and beverage stations, buffets, and serving areas with attention to presentation and detail.
- Replenish food, beverages, and supplies throughout events as needed, ensuring continuous service.
- Clear dishes, glassware, and other items from tables and event areas promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all serving and back-of-house areas before, during, and after events.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation or plating tasks as required.
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles with catering supplies and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and requests in a professional manner.
- Collaborate effectively with catering managers, culinary team, and other service staff to ensure smooth event execution.
- Efficiently breakdown and pack up all catering equipment and supplies post-event.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and proven reliability.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, boxes, and equipment (up to 25 lbs regularly).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
