Key Responsibilities
- Set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, place settings, and décor, according to event specifications and guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and adherence to service protocols.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly, professionally, and politely to requests and inquiries, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Clear tables during and after meals, ensuring proper handling of dishes, glassware, and cutlery, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist with the breakdown and clean-up of event spaces, including cleaning and organized storage of equipment, linens, and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, strictly adhering to all hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, event coordinators, and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and minor issues with a positive, helpful, and problem-solving attitude.
- Present a professional appearance and uphold Katse Lodge's esteemed service standards and brand image at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding guest service, safety, and operational efficiency.
