As a Catering Worker, you will be instrumental in the preparation, presentation, and serving of food, ensuring every guest experience is delightful and seamless. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients as directed by kitchen staff.
- Set up event spaces, dining areas, and buffets with tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner during events.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas, including kitchens, serving stations, and dining spaces.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, ovens, and food processors.
- Restock food items, beverages, and supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with the breakdown of events, including clearing tables, washing dishes, and packing away equipment.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests with a positive and helpful attitude, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient and harmonious service delivery.
