Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor multiple CCTV screens and surveillance systems to detect and deter suspicious activities, intrusions, or security breaches.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, escalating issues to relevant personnel or emergency services as required.
  • Accurately document all incidents, observations, and actions taken, maintaining detailed records and reports.
  • Operate access control systems, managing entry and exit points for authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Conduct regular system checks to ensure all CCTV equipment is fully functional and report any technical faults immediately.
  • Liaise effectively with security officers, management, and external agencies during critical incidents.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and legal guidelines regarding data protection and surveillance ethics.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 12 months) in CCTV monitoring or a related security role.
  • Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail and identifying anomalies.
  • Proficiency in operating various CCTV systems and security software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and incident relay.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure.
  • Basic IT literacy for record-keeping and system navigation.
  • Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SIA (Security Industry Authority) CCTV Public Space Surveillance license.
  • Knowledge of local security protocols and emergency procedures.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Experience with advanced analytics or AI-driven surveillance platforms.
