Job Description
Geejam Hotel is seeking a highly vigilant and detail-oriented individual to join our security team as an Entry-Level CCTV Room Monitor. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to start a career in security, providing an essential service to maintain a safe and secure environment for our esteemed guests and valued employees. As a CCTV Room Monitor, you will be the eyes and ears of our security operations, playing a crucial role in monitoring activities across the property, identifying potential risks, and responding to incidents as per established protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CCTV surveillance systems with a keen eye for detail, observing all areas of the hotel property, including common areas, perimeters, and sensitive locations.
- Actively watch for suspicious activities, unauthorized entries, safety hazards, and any deviations from established security policies.
- Document and report all unusual occurrences, incidents, and security breaches immediately to the Security Manager or relevant personnel.
- Maintain accurate logs of all surveillance activities, incidents reported, and actions taken during shifts.
- Communicate effectively and promptly with on-site security personnel and other departments via radio or telephone to coordinate responses to incidents.
- Assist in reviewing recorded footage for investigations, providing clear and concise information as requested by management.
- Adhere strictly to all company security policies, procedures, and legal guidelines regarding surveillance and privacy.
- Ensure the proper functioning of all CCTV equipment, reporting any technical issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance security knowledge and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
