Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all visitors to the cellar door, providing an exceptional first impression.
- Conduct engaging and informative wine tastings, educating guests on our product range, history, and unique selling points.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system and handle cash and card payments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine presentation of the cellar door, tasting areas, and retail displays.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, unpacking deliveries, and monitoring stock levels.
- Provide expert recommendations for wine purchases, food pairings, and local attractions.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
- Support event setup and breakdown for special tastings or private functions as required.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive working environment.
Required Skills
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
