Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door interviews with residents in assigned Parkdale areas.
  • Accurately record information using provided digital tools (tablets) and paper forms, ensuring data integrity.
  • Clearly explain the purpose and importance of the census to residents, addressing any questions or concerns respectfully.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all data security protocols.
  • Manage and organize assigned workload, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team leads and supervisors, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
  • Follow designated work schedules and navigate assigned geographic areas efficiently and safely.
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues with data collection equipment or escalate as needed.

  • Ability to speak additional languages prevalent in Toronto (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Tagalog, French).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
