Career.zycto is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Chaplain to join our team in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide non-denominational spiritual and emotional support to individuals, staff, and families.
  • Offer active listening, empathic presence, and counsel during times of crisis, grief, or personal difficulty.
  • Conduct spiritual assessments and develop appropriate care plans tailored to individual needs and beliefs.
  • Facilitate prayer, meditation, or reflective practices as requested and appropriate, respecting diverse spiritual paths.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate spiritual care into a holistic support system.
  • Educate and advocate for the spiritual dimensions of care within the organization and broader community.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of spiritual care interactions and outreach activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification by a recognized professional chaplaincy organization (e.g., APC, NACC, ACPE).
  • Experience working in a community, healthcare, educational, or corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with local community spiritual and religious resources in Magdeburg.
